Grant Template for Musicians

Calling all musicians that want a customizable example of a grant narrative! Here is what I have written for you:

[Project Name] is a [type of project, such as commissioning initiative, music education platform, performance series] that aims to support [target audience]. Our project focuses on developing [mission] to address [specific issue or gap].

Since observing [statistic or anecdote related to specific issue], I/we have [describe related completed activities, such as commissioned works, partnerships with organizations, current website, or recent benefit concert].

We are requesting [$ total amount] to fund [a few main items on the budget]. Specifically, [$ amount] will go toward [services, like composer fees], [$ amount] will cover [material costs], and [$ amount] will fund [specific activity, such as a professional recording].
